The Pitt Alumni Association wants to offer our alumni an exclusive opportunity to join the rapidly growing Pitt Network in NYC for a night out.
Experience the world of entertainment, film and horror through the lens of Pitt’s groundbreaking work in horror studies as you peek inside the University’s one-of-a-kind Horror Studies Center, the only multidisciplinary teaching and research hub of its kind in the world, and see selections from the University Library System’s internationally renowned George A. Romero Archival Collection and the Horror Studies Collection.
During this dynamic roundtable, you’ll hear from:
- Adam Lowenstein, Founding Director, Horror Studies Center; Professor, Department of English and Film and Media Studies, Pitt Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences
- Greg Siegle, Professor of Psychiatry, Pitt School of Medicine
- Tina Romero, Director and Screenwriter
- Special guests from the entertainment and academic worlds.
This event is designed for participants to network with fellow alumni and horror industry professionals, ask questions of distinguished panelists and to learn about how attendees can get involved with this exciting new initiative at the University of Pittsburgh.
The Horror Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh is a partnership of the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, David C. Frederick Honors College, University Library System and University Center for International Studies.
