African American Alumni Council Student Alumni Networking Reception
The AAAC Student and Alumni Networking Reception will foster connections between current students and alumni. This gathering offers a unique opportunity for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations, share experiences, and build professional relationships. It's an ideal setting for students to gain insights from alumni who have navigated their paths to success, while alumni can reconnect with their alma mater and support the next generation of leaders. This event will take place on the 7th Floor Lobby of Alumni Hall.

Building Beloved Community – A Peacebuilding and Nonviolence Workshop
Join us for an engaging and transformative workshop focused on the principles and practices of peacebuilding and nonviolence. Open to both the University and the wider regional community, this interactive event will provide valuable tools and insights to help you foster peace and positive change in your surroundings. Through thought-provoking discussions and hands-on activities, participants will explore the power of nonviolent engagement and the role it plays in creating a beloved community. This workshop is a collaborative effort between the Center on Race and Social Problems, the David C. Frederick Honors College, and the Alliance for Humanitarian Initiatives, Nonviolence, and Spiritual Advancement (AHINSA). Pitt Community Service Event – 2024 Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics
Join us for the 2024 Garbage Olympics and help clean up the Oakland neighborhoods! Alumni, families, students, faculty, staff and Oakland residents are all welcome to join and compete for who can pick up the most trash! Gloves, vests, garbage bags, etc., are all provided. Additional information will be shared before the event via email. Children under the age of 18 are welcome to participate but will require a parent/guardian signature and parent and guardian will need to be present with the child throughout the event.

This event will be held Saturday, September 21 on the Great Lawn on the North Shore from 12:30pm - 3:00pm.
Join fellow Pitt alumni and fans as we get ready to cheer the Panthers on to victory against Youngstown State. Payment and registration are required to guarantee a spot. A full meal is included in the price of admission. Adults over 21 years old will receive three drink tickets. Please note, admission to the Official Pitt Alumni Association Tailgate does not include parking or game tickets. Space is limited, so register today!

Celebrate 40 years of WPTS FM with WPTS Radio at our Homecoming Showcase featuring three local Pittsburgh bands! Join WPTS Radio on Saturday, September 21 following the Homecoming Game at the WPU Plaza from 8PM to 10PM. Also at this time, we invite WPTS Radio alumni to visit the station for an Open House celebrating the 40th anniversary of our FM signal.

Please join the AAAC and the congregation of Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh to celebrate the end of the homecoming weekend with a worship service. Shuttle service will be provided from campus. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together in fellowship, reflect on the weekend's events, and give thanks.
