The AAAC Student and Alumni Networking Reception will foster connections between current students and alumni. This gathering offers a unique opportunity for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations, share experiences, and build professional relationships. It's an ideal setting for students to gain insights from alumni who have navigated their paths to success, while alumni can reconnect with their alma mater and support the next generation of leaders. This event will take place on the 7th Floor Lobby of Alumni Hall.

Kick off Homecoming Weekend and connect with fellow AAAC members and other alumni. Registration for this event includes two drink tickets and hors d'oeuvres.

Support high school youth as they start to think about college and the possibility of becoming Pitt Panthers at this annual Homecoming service project.

We will recognize the 50th anniversary reunion of the Class of 1975. This event is invitation only. RSVPs should be sent to Christina Daub at cmd240@pitt.edu.

Join Pitt's University Art Gallery (UAG) for a walking tour highlighting the work of Virgil Cantini, a renowned Pittsburgh artist and the first chair of the Studio Art Department. This student-led tour begins at the School of Public Health and culminates in the UAG, where a student-curated exhibition of the work of Virgil and Lucille Cantini will be on view. You will have the opportunity to learn about some very familiar works and to go behind the scenes to see lesser-known works.

Networking lunch for PAA board members and Alumni leaders.

Join guided, tours of the new Recreation and Wellness Center. This state-of-the-art facility in the heart of campus is a total health and wellness destination with an emphasis on integrated and holistic wellness programming and services. All tours will go off at the top of every hour and will last approximately 45 minutes.

The School of Public and International Affairs showcases the third floor of Posvar Hall. The Open House will have special swag for SPIA alumni while supplies last, light refreshments and a special display area of historic GSPIA swag.

The School of Business Open House features Mervis Hall and staff will be on hand to provide swag and information about the school.

Drop by the Big Idea Center for a Homecoming Open House: tour the building, snack on light refreshments, mingle with Pitt student ventures and alumni companies and participate in an exclusive giveaway.

Experience it for yourself during our open house activities occurring from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. See the cutting-edge spaces, technology and services. Step into the past with Archives & Special Collections: see a working 1800s printing press or horror film props and witness the future with 3D printers and digital creation tools.

Swanson School of Engineering showcases Benedum Hall through self-guided tours. Stop at Makerspaces where students will be available to talk to alumni.

Stop by the lovely Frick Fine Arts Building! You may have visited the historic Cloister before but did you know that Pittsburgh’s largest academic art museum is housed in the same building? Pitt’s University Art Gallery (UAG) boasts over 3000 art works and produces a diverse range of exhibitions and public programs that support Pitt’s growing Museum Studies program.

Stop in to see our current exhibitions: Wavelengths, Earth and Ether: The Art of Lucille and Virgil Cantini, and a special installation by two contemporary artists, Jose Santiago Perez and Charmette Young, in the Gallery’s historic Rotunda. Get a glimpse behind the scenes of some rare artworks pulled from storage! Museum Studies students and gallery staff will be stationed throughout the Gallery to answer any questions and to tell you more about the UAG!

This event is exclusive to alumni of this group and invited Nationality and Heritage Room Committee representatives.

Join the the staff of the Nationality Rooms and Intercultural Exchange Programs to welcome back alumni of the Quo Vadis student organization. The long-standing student club has been in place since 1944 and provides tours to the public. The Quo Vadis guides’ special connection to and understanding of the Nationality and Heritage Rooms animate the spaces for the many University and community members who visit.

The mixer is a family affair for Scholars and Alumni to reconnect. Welcome Home!

The Chancellor’s Circle Celebration will acknowledge donors who gave at the Chancellor’s Circle level (gifts totaling $1,000 and above) for the 2025 fiscal year and steward those who have renewed or made a new gift at this level in FY26.

All alumni are invited to attend. The classes of 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 1999, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2025 are invited to join an hour early at 5 p.m. for a special pre-celebration.

Meet up and reconnect with friends before the fireworks at this year’s Ale to Pitt! Admission includes food, access to the outdoor patio beer garden (with beer and non-alcoholic drinks) and a giveaway. Enjoy memorabilia, yearbooks and other alumni favorites.

The University of Pittsburgh's National Pan-Hellenic Council will be hosting their biannual Homecoming Stroll Competition! This event is a friendly competition where NPHC fraternities and sororities demonstrate their creativity, agility, and understanding of rhythm and dance.

Cheer on the Panthers to victory against NC State! Admission includes a full meal and three drink tickets for guests 21 years old and older.

Game time TBA. Tailgate will start three hours before kickoff.

NOTE: Admission to the Official Pitt Alumni Association Tailgate does not include parking or game tickets. Space is limited. Payment and registration are required to guarantee a spot.
