The ICF offers family-friendly educational activities that celebrate the historic and ongoing contributions of Native Americans in Pennsylvania and across the U.S. No registration required. Celebrate the start of Homecoming by reconnecting with fellow AAAC members and other alumni.  Registration includes two drink tickets and hors d'oeuvres.

Support high school youth as they start to think about college and the possibility of becoming Pitt Panthers at this annual Homecoming service project.

Attendees can take a photo inside the new Victory Heights Arena. Victory Heights Arena and Sports Performance Center is a state-of-the-art 240,000-square-foot facility situated adjacent to the Petersen Events Center. It was completed in 2026 and replaces the Fitzgerald Field House. The facility is comprised of a competition arena and a Sports Performance Center. The arena seats up to 3,600 and serves as the competition home for Pitt's volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics programs. 

We will recognize the 50th anniversary reunion of the Class of 1976. This event is invitation only. RSVPs should be sent to Christina Daub at cmd240@pitt.edu.

Also experience "I am made to leave I am made to return,". a striking new artwork installation drawn from the Nationality Rooms Archive created by artists Susy Bielak and Fred Schmalz in collaboration with Pitt Studio Arts Department Chair Aaron Henderson.

Discover how the Recreation & Wellness Center goes beyond traditional fitness. Join a guided tour highlighting the RWC’s innovative spaces designed to support student well-being, foster social connection and provide opportunities to relax, recharge and have fun. Featured stops include the Sky Track, Stress Free Zone, Esports Lab, and Climbing Wall, showcasing the many ways students can stay active, build community and enhance their overall wellness. Come experience the spaces that make the RWC a unique destination on campus.

If you’re coming to campus for Homecoming on Friday, leave lunch at home and head to Gallagher Plaza outside the William Pitt Union!

From 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Gallagher Plaza will be the place to be with five food trucks serving up a little something for everyone. Grab your favorite food, meet up with friends, enjoy some music, challenge someone to a game, and soak up the Homecoming atmosphere right in the heart of campus.

Whether you’re back on campus for the first time in years, catching up with friends, bringing the family, or already on campus and just looking for a great place to hang out between Homecoming activities, come hungry and come ready to celebrate!

And the best part? Your lunch can do a little good, too. 15% of all food truck proceeds will directly benefit United Way. So, grab a bite, support a great cause, and show your Pitt pride while you’re at it.

View and interact with a display of material from the University Archives highlighting Pitt’s history, with a special emphasis on the Cathedral of Learning and its legacy. See how the Cathedral has become the symbol of the university for over 100 years through artifacts, photographs, publications, and more!

Join us for an alumni exclusive guided tour of the Nationality Rooms. Each tour will be fully guided by Quo Vadis students to explain the history and architecture of the rooms. 

Topic: "From Outside the Classroom Door to the Top Cathedral Floor:  A Look at Significant Cathedral of Learning Moments in the Pitt Black Experience."  Facilitated by Linda Wharton-Boyd.

Participants will examine how the Cathedral of Learning has served not only as the heart of the University but also as a backdrop for activism, scholarship, community building and leadership. The conversation will celebrate the contributions of Black Pitt students and alumni while inspiring today's students and future generations to continue building a legacy of excellence, service and impact.

The Pitt Band will perform school songs and crowd favorites during the traditional march through campus and subsequent concert at the Cathedral of Learning.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens—including our scene shop, costume area and more. You’ll also get a sneak peek at our next big production. Come see how students bring stories to life from script to stage! Open to all Pitt alumni.

Calling all School of Computing and Information (SCI) alumni! We are thrilled to welcome you back for our 9th Annual Homecoming Celebration: A Toast to SCI. Reconnect with old friends and favorite professors over great food, drinks and desserts. Let's cherish, make new memories and look at what lies ahead. The event will include our inaugural SCI Alumni Awards presentation and research demonstrations from SCI faculty. Join us for a night of pure nostalgia and fun!

View a new exhibit, "The Cathedral of Learning: Building in a Transformative Age," documenting the design and building of the Cathedral of Learning with materials from Archives & Special Collections at the University of Pittsburgh Library System! You’ll hear directly from the exhibit’s curator, Professor Christopher Drew Armstrong, Director of Architectural Studies, and get up close and personal with original artifacts, photographs, and more.

Join the Pitt Alumni Association for this year's collaborative event between Pitt Alumni Affinity Groups including the AAAC, Hispanic/Latino Alumni Network, Jewish Alumni Group and Pitt Muslim Alumni Network. We will also celebrate the launch of our newest affinity group: Pitt Asian American Alumni Association (Pitt4A)!

Chat with current students, faculty, staff and fellow alumni to learn more about the work being done in the department and plans for this academic year.

Enjoy a family-friendly carnival on the Cathedral Lawn with games and airbrush tattoos. Build your own Cathedral from plastic bricks as you learn about the building's iconic craftmanship. Tour the Nationality Rooms at your own pace. Watch for our resident peregrine falcons with the National Aviary.
